When we purchased this house we were looking for a solid investment in Perry Hall. We lived next door and were very familiar with the house, the neighborhood and Perry Hall in general. We sold our house next door and moved into this house. We really wanted it to be super nice for us so we renovated last fall. The interior of this house defies the exterior. A Cape Cod has lots of storage and 4 bedrooms. We have a 1.5 car garage and a 12’x15’ storage shed outside. The lot is 60’x400’ and is completely level.
What upgrades have enhanced your home?
We can hardly wait to show-off the designer kitchen that we created. We are huge HGTV fans and what is really big this year in kitchens is two-toned cabinetry. We love the medium gray cabinets on the bottom with white cabinets on the top. It is such a fresh look. We have stainless appliances, a 5-burner stove, a side-by-side refrigerator and the dishwasher has a custom panel that matches the bottom cabinets. The tiled back splash is very sleek. We decided that the strength and durability of a porcelain tile floor would complete our designer look.
We completely renovated the bathroom – new everything - double sink, toilet, tub, tile and again, the porcelain tile floor. We replaced the front door, painted all the walls in neutral colors, refinished the oak hardwood floors, replaced the carpeting throughout the house and installed planation blinds at the windows. And wait until the buyers see the unique ceiling fans!
What are a few of your favorite features?
This is a great house to live in all year round. In the fall and winter we love to be cozy and warm in front of the brick fireplace. In the warmer months we have our coffee out on our enclosed, 3-season front porch. The house has plenty of windows so natural light floods in every room. There is a lot of parking and if you need storage, this is the house for you. The full basement has a separate workshop and a pretty powder room.
What do you like about living in your community?
We really love the convenience of living so close to 95, White Marsh, Bel Air and Baltimore City. Our home is just off Honeygo Boulevard but as soon as you turn onto Forge Road you are in a country-like setting - very quiet, very green, very serene.
Perry Hall is just full of parks, great for picnicking and hiking. Honey Run Regional Park and Perry Paw Park, an exclusive members-only dog park, are both within minutes of our home. The Hammerman area of Gunpowder State Park offers 1,500 feet of beach and swimming area on the banks of the Gunpowder River as well as kayak rental. Pine Valley Swim and Tennis Club offers USTA Tennis Tournaments and several pools. The Bel Air Downtown Alliance sponsors First Fridays, Girls Night Out and the Outdoor Summer Movies. We always celebrate the 4th of July in Bel Air starting with the parade and ending the day with fireworks. Shopping, movies and day spas are all located at White Marsh Mall and The Avenue at White Marsh. There is really something for everyone nearby.
What more would you like to tell us about your home?
We have really put a lot of time and effort into updating and maintaining our home. It is absolutely immaculate and move-in ready. The location could not be more convenient no matter where you work – north on 95, Baltimore City, Aberdeen or Bel Air. It’s house that will easily accommodate a couple or a family with children. The large level lot would be great for a playground, a garden or to practice your golf swing. The neighbors are friendly, the homes are well-maintained and there are no HOA fees. The convenience of living in a suburban area coupled with the benefit of a quiet rural setting cannot be over-emphasized. We hope we have as many good things to say about our next community as we do about this one.

About Alexander Necker, Real Estate Sales Consultant
I specialize in selling the Baltimore Metropolitan’s Premier Homes.
I am an Eagle Scout. I mention this because the process of becoming an Eagle Scout provided me with the foundation by which I live my life. The values of trustworthiness, integrity, and helpfulness have allowed me to become the man I am today.
The words that describe me are:
Driver of my own professional destiny
Conduit for connecting people for professional development
Devoted husband with a wonderful wife
Father to 2 beautiful children with growing college funds
Student of Finance and Investments
After graduating college and starting a career in my field of study (agronomy), I quickly rose to the position of assistant and then superintendent of private golf courses. After 17 years in the golf business, I decided it was time to change to a career where I would not be at the mercy of the uncontrollable forces of sun, wind and rain. I chose a field where I would be the master of my fate, where the hard work and the long hours to which I am accustomed would be the determinant of my success.
The primary reason I am in the real estate business is to help people. A real estate transaction is one of the largest financial transactions you will ever undertake. Everyone deserves a real estate partner that understands and appreciates that fact. My focus on integrity, trust and communication are nothing less than I would want for myself, my family or friends entering into a large financial proceeding. I am committed to being the one real estate agent that keeps my client's best interests front and center.
In real estate, I consider myself to be a true professional in the same vein as the physician, the attorney and the accountant whom you must trust with the most important assets of your life. Nothing less is acceptable.

I appreciate all your assistance in selling my house. You made the process so easy and so quick.
When we first met and discussed the price, I had my mind made regarding the price. After you reviewed the current market with me, I took your advice and listed it for $20,000 less than I originally thought and I am glad we did. If we had listed at my price, we would still be trying to sell it. Instead, it was under contract in 14 days with three offers. Having multiple offers was a great feeling!!!
I also wanted to let you how impressed I was with your communication. I always knew what was going on with the inspections and the buyer. Our weekly and sometimes daily phone conversations really made me feel comfortable that there weren't going to be any problems with the settlement.
